Paul Marlin is an
established photographer based in
Abilene, Texas. He became a professional photographer in 1987 after
graduating with honors from Amarillo College. Paul serves the Texas
communities of Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston,
Lubbock and San Antonio. He also travels to cities nationwide and
abroad to clients world wide.
Paul accepts commissions for creating
fine art
protraits of high school seniors, couples, brides, weddings, families
and children of all ages. Paul uses traditional, photojournalistic,
illustrative, creative and artistic approaches to his portraiture. He
enjoys the vantages that both studio and location settings provide in
creating simple, natural and elegant portraits.
As a film and digital photographer,
Paul enjoys
creating artistic images in traditional color and black and white. As a
digital fine art painter, he uses watercolor, artistic oils, hand
tinting and impressionistic fine art imaging tecniques to create master
works on canvas and fine art paper.
Having served as a
portrait photographer for 27 years,
Paul has fine tuned his skills as an artist and story teller. He works
closely with his subjects to combine subtle direction with the
personality and vitality of the cast of characters. The story emerges
to be told for lifetimes. He strives to create emotive, lasting
memories one expression at a time.
